The ZWO Seestar S50 is a compact and lightweight device that combines a telescope, electric focuser, astronomy camera, ASIAIR wireless controller, Altazimuth mount, and filter switching device into one product. With its mobile app control, it is easy to capture celestial objects.

The Seestar S50 can operate in two shooting modes, astronomical and scenery! If the weather permits, the user can image the splendidness of the cosmos and if not or during the day, image terrestrial objects and scenery.

Since more light capture is generally needed for color to be detected, the live stacking mode in the ZWO Seestar S50 essentially takes adjacent images and stacks them, making color detail more apparent!

ZWO has constucted the Seestar S50 with a triplet apochromatic lens system, thus keeping chromatic aberration from occuring and guaranteeing images are sharp.

The user can find their intended celestial object easily. All they must do is select the object on their phone using the app and the Seestar will align and track accordingly. The mount uses built in sensors and star maps to self calibrate and align.

The Seestar S50 has extended battery life at 6 hours due to low power consumption. The battery can be recharged via power bank if needed.

The ZWO Seestar S50 can connect wirelessly via Wifi and Bluetooth to be controlled via the app.
