ZWO - EAF Pro Electronic Automatic Focuser with USB Type C and Bluetooth - ZWO-EAF-Pro

The ZWO EAF Pro is a precision electronic automatic focuser that offers micro level focus adjustments with a built in battery, USB C and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Designed for remote applications, the low power consumption and lithium battery ensure that external power issues won't slow you down, and you stay connected to your ASIAIR, smart cameras and computer control. The ZWO EAF Pro Electronic Automatic Focuser is also compatible with the EAF hand controller and temperature sensor and is capable of carrying up to 5kg payloads.  

With a built in low power Bluetooth 5.0 chip, the EAF Pro can connect to the ASIAIR and smart cameras as well as compatible software for full remote operation.  

The EAF-N replaces the previous USB Type-B port with a modern USB-C interface, offering:

The ZWO EAF Pro auto focuser has additional features for extended use and remote applications.  Gaining a built in lithium battery to mitigate any external power constraints.  A one week endurance test shows that the battery is capable of running 2 focusing operations per hour, during an 8 hour session for 7 consecutive nights on a single battery charge.  The EAF Pro is also compatibility with the EAF hand controller and temperature sensor (both optional), and includes a power switch, status indicator light and focus button.  

For those who prefer manual control, a EAF Hand Controller is available.

With typical temperature fluctuations throughout the night, your system can experience shifts in focus.  Adding a temperature sensor allows the EAF to correct those shifts and adjust focus based on ambient conditions, ensuring your stars remain sharp. 

• Automatic Focus Compensation: As equipment warms and cools, this sensor will detect changes and work with software to keep images in perfect focus.

Despite it's compact size, the EAF Pro is capable of carrying up to 5kg (11.02 lbs.) easily accommodating a wide range of imaging equipment including heavier, large sensor cameras.  

When used with ASIAIR, the EAF Pro is compatible with the ASIAIR Plus (RK version) and the entire ASIAIR camera lineup.
