As an "all-in-one" solution for astrophotographers doing both basic and long exposure astroimaging, it removes a lot of the hassle previously needed into an easy imaging setup! Virtually every component needed to execute exposures can be controlled via the ZWO ASIAIR Plus 256 GB - Wi-Fi Camera Controller.

Wireless speed is one of the most crucial factors in having a flawless imaging session without chance of data interference and possible subsequent frame dropping. Compared to the ASIAIR Pro, the ASIAIR Plus has an included WIFI Antenna that generates improved WIFI signal that can accomodate a dual band of both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz with a range of 20 meters at 2.4Ghz. It is highly recommended that the connected USB 3.0 cable stay away from the antenna to reduce chance of interference of the frequency.

The PLUS is 24% thinner than the Pro with dimensions of only 100x70x26.5mm.

Apart from wireless signal, efficient memory storage is also critical for a smooth imaging session because it determines how fast the portable device, in this case the ASIAIR Plus can read and write the data. The faster and more efficient these speeds are, the quicker data can be written, backed up, and accessed. After over 300 rigorous and diligent tests conducted by ZWO, the average read speed is 121 mb/s and write speed is 95 mb/s. The total storage capacity is 256Gb with an initial free space of 244GB.

The ASIAIR Plus has 2.5x faster I/O speed than the Pro, meaning it has quicker data transmission to external devices.

The ZWO ASIAIR Plus includes a following ports
