With a focal length of 150mm, the ZWO 30mm f/5 guidescope is an excellent match for guiding telescopes up to 750mm in focal length. Its triplet apochromatic design with ED glass delivers pinpoint stars with virtually no color fringing, ensuring greater guiding precision. The 30mm aperture offers bright, detailed views of the night sky, making it ideal not only for guiding but also for widefield astrophotography. Plus, its high-quality optics make it a versatile tool. You can add an eyepiece for quick visual observations or use it as a finderscope.

As with its predecessor, this guidescope offers two convenient mounting options for your camera. For cameras equipped with a 1.25" nosepiece, simply insert the nosepiece into the rear of the guidescope and secure it using the included thumbscrews. The sturdy construction ensures your camera remains firmly in place throughout the night. Additionally, the rear of the 30mm f/5 guidescope features M42x0.75 threads, allowing for a direct threaded connection to compatible planetary cameras. It is fully compatible with all ZWO ASI models, and users wishing to attach a DSLR may do so with the appropriate T-ring (sold separately).
