Larry Weatherly
My passion for astronomy began in childhood, inspired by countless nights spent gazing at the stars and school trips to Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. That early interest turned into a lifelong pursuit in my mid-thirties, starting with a small telescope and eventually expanding into advanced astrophotography. With a background in photography, it was a natural progression from film cameras to DSLRs, then to dedicated CCD and CMOS astronomy cameras.
Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in the astronomy and astrophotography community, both as a hobbyist and a professional in the retail side of the field. If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve caught the same "astronomy bug", and I’m always happy to share what I’ve learned and help you on your journey.

Allen Mason
After growing up in East Tennessee, I joined the Marine Corp and was stationed in San Diego, CA. After my third deployment, I was medically retired in 2007 and am now living in Southern Oregon.
I have a background in both visual astronomy and astrophotography, and I still remember the awe of seeing Saturn’s rings through a telescope for the first time. With over a decade of experience in professional sales, working with Oceanside Photo & Telescope, Woodland Hills Camera & Telescopes, and PlaneWave Instruments, I’ve helped educational institutions, government agencies, and commercial clients find the right solutions for their needs.
My goal is to ensure every customer finds the right equipment to achieve their astronomy goals. I’m passionate about helping others grow in this hobby and profession we all love. I’d be happy to assist you, just as I’ve helped many others discover and capture the beauty of the night sky.
