Never in my years have a worked with a mount that works so simple and flawless right out of the box, and the polar scope is second to none. My previous GoTo mount's handset had some bugs, but this mount can run directly off Sky Safari without the intervention of any separate hand controller other than the dual axis handset which is a blessing to center objects while aligning. All I had to do is polar align the mount, connect it to Sky Safari, then loosen the RA and DEC clutches to point the telescope at any "one" star I wanted, then simply align that star in Sky Safari and it was aligned for the night. There's an optional handset by Takahashi for this mount, but Sky Safari works great with it. The tracking for imaging is exremely smooth without any unwanted backlash or slop I've seen in lesser mounts. So far, it's a fantastic, portable imaging platform, and I really enjoy how it works for visual observation as well. This is my favorite grab&go mount! (Posted on 2/8/2017)
