Join us November 11th, 2017 at the RAS GMARS site for an in-depth training session with Richard Wright, Sarah Bisque and R.J. Smith from Software Bisque as they walk you through the popular Software Bisque Paramount equatorial mount. Spend half the day learning tips for best results, proper procedures and how to perform routine maintenance, and another half with Richard as he dives into the Paramount software. We'll be providing meals all day for registered attendees, and you have access to the GMARS site the entire weekend.

Richard Wright & Software Bisque at GMARS - November 11th 2017

Join us at the Riverside Astronomical Society Goat Mountain Astronomical Research Station, GMARS November 11th, 2017.   

Astrophotographer and software developer, Richard Wright, Software Bisque production engineer Sarah Bisque and Software Bisque's on staff astrophysicists, R.J. Smith will be there to walk you through the ins and outs of the Paramount equatorial mount.   Seminar topics include routine maintenance procedures, common questions and tips for the best results with your mount and mount control software.   This is a great chance to get your questions answered by the people that have produced some of the most popular equatorial mounts of all time, and a rare opportunity to get in-depth training on the Paramount.  Whether you are a Software Bisque mount owner or have been curious about the mounts, this seminar is open to any and all who would like to learn more.

The Software Bisque team will be staying into the evening on Saturday.  If you would like to bring your mount with you, there will be some time available at the end of the day for hands-on assistance and advice. Due to time constraints, they will not be performing repairs on site.    

As part of the seminar, you have access to the GMARS site from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon with free camping, if you would like to stay.  Alternatively, there a couple small hotels in the Landers area and more in nearby Twentynine Palms for those who would like to stay but not camp.  Feel free to bring your equipment with you to take advantage of the site! 

Woodland Hills Camera & Telescopes will be providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner to registered attendees.  The day's seminar begins at 10 am be sure to arrive by 8 am if you would like to grab a bite to eat before the day begins.  Visit for more detailed directions on how to get to the GMARS.  Register early!  Seats are limited.
