Repair Plan: For Meade products over $200.00. You get a choice of a three or a five-year repair program that is effective from the date of purchase and is inclusive of the manufactruer's warranty. If a product requires service, you will be provided with an Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number, and boxes for you to ship the product to a Meade Service Center at your expense - return shipping charges are paid under this contract. Replacement Plan: For Meade products under $200.00. You get a choice of a three or a five-year replacement plan contract.. The replacement plan is a one-time replacement of the product. The product replacement will be of equal value of the original purchase price. Advanced 3-Way Shipping Plan: In addition to the Meade Sky Assurance Plans Meade offers an Advance 3-Way shipping upgrade on the 3 & 5 year Repair and Replacemant Plans. Under this plan, you are sent a Meade shipping container with instructions on how to pack and ship your product to a Meade Service Center. All shipping cost are covered under this contract. Renewable as long as you wish! NO LEMON GUARANTEE: If your product is repaired for the same problem three times, Meade will replace it with a product of equal value of the original purchase price. NO Deductible! Customer Care Center: If you need service you call the dedicated "Meade Sky Assurance" hotline at 800-291-3392. No contract number or original receipt is necessary when calling the hotline. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be able to locate the customer file by phone number or customer name. The CSR will: help the customer resolve the problem with their covered product. If the problem cannot be resolved, the customer will be referred for service or issue a replacement based on the terms and conditions of the product being covered. Fully Transferable: All programs are transferable. There is no charges to transfer the contract. The original owner must request a transfer, in writing. Cancellation: The program is cancelable at any time. The customer can cancel their contract in the first 30 days and receive a full refund less any claims that might have been paid. Cancellations made after the first 30 days are subject to reduced refunds.
