PENTAX DCF NV 8x36 Binoculars contain hybrid aspherical lens elements which maintain sharpness across the entire surface (edge to edge) in a variety of lighting conditions. These lenses have a scratch-resistant coating which combats damage from dirt and grime. The user can expect good contrast and clarity due to two phase-coated roof-prisms. 

The center diopter ring enables the binoculars to maintain settings during transport and handling without need for major adjustments. Constructed from fiber-reinforced polycarbonate, these binoculars are strong, rugged and light. With a JIS Class 6 weather rating, the PENTAX DCF NV 8x36  Binoculars are fogproof and waterproof to as deep as one meter, making them ideal for use in even extreme climatic conditions. Helicoid eyepiece ring with four click-stops provides the most comfortable eye relief. The rubberized housing promotes good grip and provides shock protection. 

Completely multi-coated lenses improve transmission of light and quality of color. Long eye-relief enables viewing with spectacles or the naked eye. 

These binoculars are made to a standard usually only found on expensive European optical instruments.
