Product Description

Introducing the Lunar, Planetary Imager and Guider, the camera that made for auto-guiding and astro-imaging.

With the new Meade Solar System and guide camera, experience the cosmos like never before! Lightweight and portable, LPI-G comes in either Color or Monochrome, and a 1280 x 960 pixel CMOS sensor with the ability of capturing 28 frames per second at full resolution!

Dual Purpose Camera

For observers getting into astro-imaging, the Meade LPI-G astro imaging camera is ideal! The 1.25" barrel size allows the camera to be used in place of the eyepiece. The observer will get remarkable views of the Moon, Planets and the Sun (with Solar Filter!) very quickly with this excellent CMOS sensor. When used as an auto guider, the built-in ST4 port makes for easy connection. The LPI-G is compatible with a number of guiding and image capture programs such as Maxim DL, PHD, and FireCapture.

The LPI-G comes with dedicated Meade astronomy software called Sky Capture, which allows you to record and process video, image capture and processing, as well as other features like dark field correction and image stitching.
