More power and wider TFOV than my Tele Vue 14mm Delos. I had a TV 13mm Ethos, but this has better eye relief, which I appreciate with astigmatism, and with a bit more magnification it really doesn't sacrifice much on TFOV. I also like a 2" eyepiece with a 2" diagonal. The image is clear, bright, neutral in color, and pinpoint sharp edge to edge. Works fine in a Big Barlow, so I can work from big sky to planetary viewing without having to rebalance my scope. This and the ES 17mm are new favorites, and the price to value compared to more expensive eyepieces make these winners. Nice scopes deserve nice optics! (Posted on 8/7/2018)
