High contrast images. Collimation spot on. Minimal mirror shift. Near zero chromatic aberration. Smooth focuser. Erect image finder scope. Lack of coated prisms makes for very dim images. Some spherical aberration present, but not objectionable. Mount is relatively cheap, but does what it was designed to do--slew to objects in the sky. The mini joy stick works great and the variable speeds allow you to easily track the object once it is acquired. It fits nicely in your hand and will even keep your hand warm on those cold winter nights.

This is a great little scope, much better optically than most of the competitors. It is also made in Japan. Highly recommended! (Posted on 12/4/2015)
