CELESTRON • AstroMaster 90AZ 90mm Refractor Telescope •
Right out of the box, the Celestron AstroMaster 90AZ Refractor Telescope serves as a basic telescope for observing planetary objects such as the moon, planets and even sun (*WITH A PROPER FILTER!!!) due to its refractor design and fast focal ratio of f/11. With a very basic altazimuth mount, aluminum tripods, and accessory tray, assembling the AstroMaster 90AZ is very simple and quick. Simply mount the optical tube on the altazimuth head, extend the tripods, and snap on the accessory tray. The observer will also get and 20mm and 10mm eyepieces included resulting in magnifications of 50x and 100x as well as a permanent StarPoint mounted on the top of the telescope. For a basic understanding of the night sky, the SkyX First Light Edition astronomy software is also included.
* Looking directly at the sun for even brief periods may cause blindness or severe damage to the eye !

If you’re looking for a dual-purpose telescope appropriate for both terrestrial and celestial viewing, then the AstroMaster Series is for you. Each AstroMaster model is capable of giving correct views of land and sky. The AstroMaster Series produce bright, clear images of the Moon and planets. It is easy to see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with every one of these fine instruments. For views of the brighter deep space objects like galaxies and nebulae, we recommend the larger aperture and light gathering ability of the Newtonian reflectors.
