The Celestron Omni XLT 127 is a 5 inch Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube with a f/9.84 focal ratio, making it very suitable for planetary observing. The StarBright XLT coatings and the slow focal ratio ensure there is high contrast at higher magnifications, so the details of many planets will be very apparent. Even brighter end deep sky objects may shine quite well through the Omni XLT 127. Celestron has also included a 25mm eyepiece and a 1.25" star diagonal.

The CG-4 Equatorial Mount includes setting circles and slow motion controls to help adjust Right Ascension and Declination for specific coordinates. Assembling the telescope is very easy. Simply mount the optical tube on the mount. No tools required!
