Starlight Xpress Spectrograph Pro

The Starlight Xpress Spectrograph PRO is a state of the art version of the SX Spectrograph with automated features added into the mix! Among some of the features include changing slits, adjusting camera focus and wavelength setting and switching on the flat field lamp remotely! The spectograph is specially designed to render spectral lengths of 31mm from 340 to 900 nM. While most of the visible spectrum can be seen with the TRIUS PRO-694, simply adjusting  a sliding camera carrier with motor driven threaded drive screws will show the rest of the spectrum. A provided 6 position slit wheel allows user optimization based on specific applications.  When using the 20 microns slit, the superior R factor is 1500 - 2000 depending on the focal ratio of the telescope. Included is a Lodstar PRO guide camera which observes the imaging field via 10% / 90% beam splitter cube. The position co-ordinates of the slit are marked on the cursor box by the PHD2 tracking software making it easy to find the observer's intended object to view and find a guide star for tracking.
