Shelyak - UVEX Spectrograph
NOTE: In order to use the UVEX Spectrograph, you must have the Alpy 600 Guiding Module (PF0036) and Alpy 600 Calibration Module (PF0037) which are sold separately.
UVEX is a cross Czerny-Turner spectrograph optimized for wavelengths from near UV (<400nm) to near IR (1µm).

Shelyak UVEX Spectrograph
Czerny-Turner Spectrograph Design - Optimized for Near UV to Near IR Wavelength Range
The Shelyak UVEX Spectrograph is a scientific research apparatus that is based upon Czerny-Turner design which is optimized and preferred for spectroscopy of studies from the near UV (<400nm) to near IR (1µm) wavelength. This excels in remarkable research of chemical composition of stars and nebulae and other objects in the cosmos of scientific interest.
Designed to be used with Ritchey Chretien 12"-14" f/8 Optical Tubes
The Shelyak UVEX Spectrograph is specifically geared towards be used with a Ritchey-Chretien optical tube assembly due to their superiority in providing flat fields, short exposure times, and improved optics for scientific research due to almost complete lack of chromatic aberration, all of which are major upper hands when measuring and analyzing light.
5 Position Spectrograph Slit
To alter the UVEX resolution, Shelyak equipped an interchangeable design. Using a Phillips screwdriver, the user can change between 25 µm, 50 µm, 100 µm, 300 µm and hole of 25 µm.
