Shelyak - Star'Ex LR Optical Kit

Meant to capture and observe faint objects, the LR model of the Star'Ex is best for comets, quasars and galaxies.  The Star'Ex was developed by Christian Buil and is intended to make spectroscopy accessible but providing you with the high precision optical components, and you 3D print your own housing.  Detailed instructions are included.  

As a modular system, users have the freedom to creatively reconfigure the optics and combine with components from the Sol'Ex for a tailored experience.  Great for both experienced users who would like to experiment more, and beginners who would like to understand optical systems and spectroscopy better.  

• Resolution @650 nm: R = 650 typical with a 23-micron slit (R = lambda / d-lambda)
• Wavelength range: For Star’Ex LR – VIS: 400 nm – 700 nm For StarEx LR – IR: 650 nm – 1 000 nm
• Internal reduction ratio: 1:1. Collimator and objective both have a focal length of 80 mm.
