QHYCCD - Q-Focuser Standard Version

The QHYCCD Q Focuser Standard Version is an ultra lightweight and extremely compact motorized focus aid designed to provide users with motorized fine focus control.  Thanks to it's small body design, this focus motor can easily be used in lightweight travel systems.  Using reducing motors, the standard version does experience a small amount of backlash which is easily calibrated in software which is provided with the focuser and is both Windows, ASCOM and Linux compatible.   The focuser includes an external temperture sensor, USB 2.0 Type C cable for easy connection to your systems and a standard 5v/12v power adapter.  Multiple couplers, mounting brackets and screws are included for an all inclusive package.  

• A tiny housing ensures this focus aid won't get in the way.  This focuser is only about 43x39x50mm about the same size as a typical phone charging block.  
• Capable of handling loads up to about 4.5 pounds or 10kg. 
• Weighs just 210g, less than half a pound. 
• The standard version does not support manual focus adjustments.  For this feature please see the High Precision version.  
• Powered either with the included Type C USB 2.0 cable or 12V DC.  
• Included driver is compatible with Windows, ASCOM and Linux and the focuser can be controlled via other third party softwares.  
• Included adapter plates are fully adaptable to most installations thanks to slots that run the length of the adapter plates.  This allows for flexible adjustment of the plate placement in relation to your telescope and other system accessories.  

The Q Focuser is easily adapted to a wide variety of systems thanks to the slotted adapter plates. Rather than using fixed holes, these open slots allow for plates to be placed and adjusted as needed to put the focuser at the proper distance and height for your telescope. The standard version would be installed on the standard focus adjustment side of your system.   In the event that you have just one focus adjustment knob, the Q Focuser would be attached to that side or the coarse adjustment.    All of the necessary screws are also included.  

An external temperature gauge is included with both the standard and high precision focuser versions.  

The included QHYCCD drivers support both Windows (ASCOM and Linux systems.  ASCOM drivers integrate all basic functions like movement, customized current position, limit switches, torque maintenance and temperature display which allows control through other third party softwares.
