The Pegasus Astro DewMaster2 Digital Dew Heater Controller is a versatile tool designed to effectively manage dew and maintain clear optics. With five individually controllable heater channels, each powered by high-capacity MOSFETs delivering up to 6A per channel, this device supports everything from simple two-heater band setups to more complex configurations with additional heating elements.

Control options are flexible and convenient. You can adjust settings using the built-in three-button interface and red OLED screen, wirelessly through a web portal, or via a USB connection to PC software. For fully automated operation, the DewMaster2 includes an environmental sensor and supports up to two optional temperature probes, enabling it to adapt to real-time conditions.

Built for durability and ease of use, the DewMaster2 features a sturdy 6061 aluminum housing with a sleek blue anodized finish. It is compatible with custom mounting solutions or can be installed using the Pegasus Astro Synta-Style Base (sold separately).

Five individual and independant ports allow for complex dew prevention setups.  Set each channel to the temperature you want.  The five RCA ports are powered by individual high-capacity MOSFET transistors, each supporting up to 6 Amps. This design ensures efficient and reliable operation of demanding anti-dew equipment. Each port features PWM control, allowing you to fine-tune the output to match your dew prevention needs while optimizing power usage. Additionally, the DewMaster2 includes two 5.5x2.1 mm 12V DC passthrough ports, enabling you to power other astronomy equipment using the same supply as your dew controller.

The DewMaster2 offers a fully independent solution for managing dew control. Its 2.1-inch OLED screen, featuring a 128 x 64 resolution, displays key information such as heater outputs and environmental data at a glance. Combined with the intuitive three-button interface, the display allows you to adjust settings and monitor system performance directly from the device—eliminating the need for external devices like PCs, smartphones, or tablets.

The DewMaster2 Digital Dew Heater Controller is designed for hands-off operation with advanced automation features. Using high-resolution temperature and humidity data from the included external environmental sensor, it proactively adjusts your anti-dew equipment to address dew formation before it becomes an issue. For even greater precision, the controller offers two 3.5 mm inputs for optional temperature probes (sold separately). These probes can be linked to specific channels, ensuring targeted adjustments and efficient heating without exceeding necessary levels. The controller supports ASCOM drivers and ASCOM Alpaca, enabling precise management and integration through its USB-C port or built-in WiFi hotspot. This allows seamless adjustments from your PC and compatibility with popular ASCOM-compatible imaging software.  

For a mobile-friendly solution, the DewMaster2 can also be operated from your smartphone or tablet browser. Simply connect to its WiFi hotspot, open your browser, and navigate to "dewmaster2.local" for quick access to device controls and status updates.
