Officina Stellare - RIFAst 700 f/3.8 Ceramic Glass Full-Carbon Optical Tube

The Officina Stellare RiFAst astrograph series was designed to be a further step up from the RiLA series as far as focal ratio and field of view to accommodate a wider range of imagers, rotators, focusers and guiders! Officina Stellare has carefully designed these instruments with these improvements while keeping them at a lower weight level and a very minimal secondary mirror obstruction. Once Officina Stellare decided they would make this dream telescope a reality, they put Italian optical designer, Massimo Riccardi, on the job. The RiFAst series uses a aspherical primary and spherical secondary which is a modification of the Harmer-Wynne design.

The RiFAST Telescope Series from Officina Stellare encompass a 16" to 32" aperture range with a f/3.8 focal ratio making them quite fast for CCD Astrophotography of deep sky objects. All designs use an aluminum/carbon fiber truss tubes.
