CCD Cameras
Still CCD cameras are available in a wide range of grades and sizes from entry level to professional and research grade imaging instruments. CCD astroimaging and astrophotography cameras will capture a still image of the night sky in user-specified exposure lengths. With post processing work, these images can be layered and stacked to create stunning and detailed pictures of nebula, star clusters, galaxies and planets. Available in both full color and black and white (monochrome) sensors, CCD cameras for telescopes are typically excellent at reducing noise when compared to CMOS sensors, with a higher sensitivity to light for higher resolution.
