Starizona HyperStar Lens -14 " Celestron EdgeHD Starizona HyperStar C14HD was designed for the Celestron 14" Edge HD telescopes. This lens assembly works on a variety of cameras but please note different cameras require different adapters. For safe storage of the secondary mirror while imaging, a holder is included in your order. HyperStar Lens System enables your telescope to function at a focal ratio of f/2.0 which is 25 times faster than the standard f/10 focal ratio. A CCD Camera can be mounted on the front of your telescope when you mount the HyperStar lens assembly in place of the secondary mirror. Allows wider field of view and much faster imaging with the use of HyperStar. The HyperStar C14HD by Starizona was designed for Celestron 14" Edge HD telescopes. This system enables tremendously fast, wide field CCD imaging. HyperStar can be used with cameras including Nikon and Canon DLSR's, SBIG ST-7/8/9/10/2000 series, cameras from SAC, Meade, Orion, and Starlight Xpress, and the popular StellaCam video system from Astrovid. Turn your telescope into an f/1.9 imaging system by replacing the secondary mirror on Fastar-compatible 14" Edge HD SCT's with the HyperStar Lens System. Included in this model is the required adapter ring to fit the HyperStar lens to the Edge HD model telescopes.
