There are two cameras on the DWARF II with different lenses. One is a wide angle which is used for more terrestrial observing that needs a large field of view covered within the frame. The telephoto camera can be used after the intended object is captured with the wide field and at a fixed location.

The DwarfLab DWARF II has automatic star tracking to compensate for the rotation of Earth and avoids field rotation with a built in algorithm.

Along with the automatic star tracking, the DWARF II can also track deep sky objects which allows for long exposure frames. Furthermore, it can then stack the frames into a final bright image!

Automatic motion detection with the NPU (network processing unit) can track movement within the field of view. This enables easier ability to zoom in on subject when its being tracked and to use the combined power and tools of the wide field and telephoto lenses syncing to accomplish this.

The DWARF II weights only 2.6 pounds, meaning it can be taken virtually anywhere for a nature extravaganza or night sky imaging session!
