Coronado - SolarMax III Blocking Filter BF15
Coronado has revamped the blocking filters for the SolarMax III series, allowing them to integrate more smoothly with SolarMax III optical tubes by adding a 2" nosepiece with a 1.25" eyepiece holder and t-thread connection. The BF15 can also accommodate 1.25" focusers with the separate Coronado 1.25" adapter (please note that this adapter is not included). It's crucial to always use the Etalon on the front of the SolarMax III OTA in conjunction with the blocking filter for safe solar observation!

SolarMax III BF15 Features

Newly Optimized for SolarMax III Optical Tubes
Coronado has revamped the blocking filters for the SolarMax III series. By attaching a 2" nosepiece with a 1.25" eyepiece holder and t-thread connection, they can integrate more seamlessly with the SolarMax III optical tubes. In the case of the BF15, it can also accomodate 1.25" focusers if needed with the Coronado 1.25" adapter (sold separately NOT included). The blocking filter MUST be used with the included Etalon for safe solar observation!
Since the BF15 has a 15mm aperture, it is geared for eyepieces with wide field as well as larger camera sensors relative to the smaller blocking filters.
