The Celestron 12096 is an 8" EdgeHD optical tube assembly telescope paired with the Nexstar Evolution alt-azimuth mount with StarSense AutoAlign technology. The mount base includes 2 auxiliary ports at the top of the fork arm and 2 at the bottom, for plenty of space to plug in your accessories. A traditional StarSense controller is included but will not be needed if using the SkyPortal app to control your telescope. A StarPointer Pro red dot finder, 40mm and 12.5mm eyepieces, and a 1.25" star diagonal is included with the scope along with an international AC adapter.
