The Celestron CPC 8" GPS XLT Telescope combines the light gathering power and superb light transmission of the 8" Schmidt Cassegrain optical tube with a dual fork altazimuth design and heavy duty tripod. The included 8" Schmidt Cassegrain optical tube assembly has an f/10 focal ratio. With a slower focal ratio, planetary objects shine their true detail! Easily see the clouds of Jupiter, rings of Saturn and even some fine details in deep sky objects as well. To ensure maximum light transmission effectiveness possible, Celestron has coated the optical tube with their flagship StarBright XLT coatings.

The included CPC fork altazimuth mount is a fully computerized system with DC servo motors and an internal 16 channel GPS to automatically collect info such as day, location and time. The mount supports multiple alignment options including the flagship SkyAlign feature. When using the NexStar Hand Controller, the observer has access to a 40,000 object database!

The telescope includes an accessory tray, 40mm eyepiece, 1.25" star diagonal, and a 9x50 finderscope.
