The Nexus eFinder makes it fast and simple to align your telescope and locate celestial objects. Using a built-in camera, it captures an image of the sky and matches it to a star database to instantly determine where the telescope is pointing—a technique known as plate solving.

With accuracy better than one arcminute, the eFinder allows you to track down even the faintest deep-sky objects. When paired with the Nexus DSC Pro, it delivers continuous, real-time precision, maintaining accuracy as the telescope moves.

The eFinder also streamlines the traditional 1-, 2-, or 3-star alignment process. A single calibration can be saved and reused for future observing sessions, and alignment can be performed from any location in the sky rather than targeting specific stars, as required by conventional DSC systems.

When used alongside the Nexus DSC Pro, the eFinder is fully compatible with ServoCat and SkyTracker systems.

It can also operate independently of the Nexus DSC Pro, although in that case it must be connected to planetarium software such as SkySafari Plus or Pro.
