Its optical design mirrors that of the FRA400, utilizing a Petzval-like structure that eliminates the need for precise back focus calculations. The FRA400C incorporates a quintuplet air-spaced design with two pieces of ED glass and supports a 44mm full-frame image circle. The aperture range of the FRA400C spans from F22 to F5.6. Askar has also fine-tuned various mechanical aspects of the FRA400C to improve the overall user experience.
