The dual-band 3nm SII & OIII filter, known as ALP-T, is ideal for capturing deep sky images. It features a deep red Sulfur II 672.4nm and a blue-green O III 500.7nm, and is designed to help color cameras achieve better SNR. It features a half-bandwidth of 3nm and an optical density of 4.5 on unwanted light wavelengths. It can effectively block light pollution and airglow, and enhance the contrast in Nebulae images by passing the emission lines of the OIII and SII. This component is an addition to the Antlia ALP-T dual band Ha&OIII filter, which enables narrow-band and false-color images with the help of the onboard stereo optical system (OSC). When using this filter, the data collected from the Nebulae exhibit high signal-to-noise ratio and better contrast than without it. It passes the emission lines of the SII 672.4nm and the OIII 500.7nm with a 3nm Ultra FWHM design. This allows it to capture the detailed signal of the Nebulae. This component is ideal for use with color cameras and mono cameras, and it can also be used as a Luminance filter to reduce imaging time. Its optical density can improve signal-to-noise ratio and block up to 1100nm near IR. It features a flat top and moderate bandpass to minimize spectrum downshifts. The dual-sided layered structure of the Ion Gun assisted deposition process on a double-sided substrate makes it the most accurate and consistent light pollution filter. It features an anti-reflective coating that can minimize internal reflections and halos. This component is designed to block artificial lighting from scale 1 to 8. The Antlia filter's durability is also ensured by its robust coating technology, which is characterized by blackened edges.
