For glare reduction in observing the Moon. This Meade variable polarizing filter includes two Polarizer filters mounted in a machined cell and permits continuously variable light transmission from 5% to 25%, to compensate for varying lunar surface brightness according to the Moon's phase and the aperture of the telescope. This glare reduction filter accepts 1.25" eyepieces.
