The Meade 8" LX90-ACF Telescope yields similar optical brilliance to the LX200 flagships, but in a package providing better value for those primarily observing rather than imaging. Meade has employed advancements beyond the traditional Schmidt-Cassegrain catadioptrics for the LX90-ACF, gaining significant resolution increases as you move away from the center of the field towards the edge.

For viewing ease and rapid object location, the LT-6 comes equipped with the AutoStar #497 controller and the AutoStar Suite software. This computerized control system offers viewers to view celestial objects by simply pushing a button.

There are very few aspects you can come up with in which one of the largest telescope manufacturers, Meade hasn’t already developed. That is, until now. The Meade MAX2-ACF is a large advancement for amateur astronomers. As a tripod, mount, and OTA package, this item supports a payload of 250 pounds.
