The Vixen ED103S is an apochromatic refractor, with fantastic contrast and 4" aperture, sufficient for viewing most of the planets and many stars. The SPHINX equatorial mount and STARBOOK controller have been intelligently engineered for high-speed automatic location of celestial objects.

The TSA-120 is a great scope for imaging. The TOA 35 flattener converts the 120 into an f/7.3 882mm flat field 2.6º instrument and the reducer changes it to an f/5.6 672mm.

The Takahashi TSA-120 is the second triplet apochromat in the TSA Series. Its superb color correction will provide high contrast images with pinpoint stars across the field.

The Takahashi TOA-150B optical tube assembly is based upon an apochromatic refractor design which is beneficial to inhibit uncessary color often exposed when viewing bright stars and/or planets.

The new style EM-200 mounts include the ability for operation on 12v or 24v and feature high speed slewing at 350x [sidereal rate] at 12v and 700x at 24v. 12V operation takes place with the use of the hand controller only. The mount will then function just like the EM-200 USD model (no GoTo functions).

The TOA-130 is perfect for visual, CCD and photo imaging. The f/7.7 focal ratio with a 1000mm focal length is long enough, using the LE-ED 2.8mm Takahashi ocular, for high magnification observations of the Moon and planets and yet will produce a 2.5° field at 20x when used with the Takahashi flat field LE-50 2° ocular.

This instrument is  offered with the 4.00" focuser. For those wanting to use a medium format camera, we will offer a deluxe 4° focuser with built-in camera angle adjuster.

130mm f/7.7 triplet Ortho APO is Takahashi's newest design. Compact design sports 32" tube with lens shade retracted Includes classic 2.7" focuser EM-200 Temma II Mount handles a payload of up to 35 lbs.

Not only is this instrument an excellent choice for astronomy, it can be used as a portable high-quality telescope for birding. The oversize focuser has an adapter for 2" and 1-1/4" diagonals, and accepts the FS series photographic adapters.

Introducing the new Takahashi FSQ-106! The last rendition, the FSQ106N, has long been regarded as one of the finest refractors available for film and CCD imaging

The new Takahashi FSQ makes some significant improvements over its predecessor. The new FSQ telescope has significantly longer backfocus at 178mm to accommodate most CCD systems.

The tube length of 16.7”allows the new “Q” to be highly airline transportable. Even when the lens shade is extended the total length is only 20.5”.
