Filters for Imaging

If you're using a monochrome CCD camera like Orion's Parsec 8300M, these specialized "line" filters are the perfect complement. Orion's 2" Oxygen-III Filter has a full-width half maximum (FWHM) bandpass of just 7nm, ensuring high-contrast images, even in heavily light-polluted or brightly moonlit skies. The filter can be used separately or in combination with a filter wheel for advanced tri-color imaging of emission nebulae.

Filter for astrophotography transmits 90% of light at 656.3nm wavelength (H-alpha).

This Opticstar 2" eyepiece is suitable for both visual observation and imaging these are all-in-one high-transmission deep sky filters.

Lumicon's Night Sky Hydrogen-Alpha Filters are long-pass filters with a 50% transition from blocking to passing at about 640nm. At wavelengths longer than 650nm, transmittance is 90% or above
