Fits: All Meade 8 inch (20 cm) f/6 Lightbridge telescopes. Also fits Zhumell and GSO 8 inch telescopes.

Knobs:
Primary collimation: Black plastic, 30 mm (1-1/4 inch) diameter, 5-point fluted
Primary locking: Black plastic, 25 mm (1 inch) diameter, knurled
Secondary collimation: Black plastic, 13 mm (1/2 inch) diameter, knurled

Threads: Black oxide or zinc plated steel (primary adjustment); stainless steel (primary locking); black oxide or chrome plate (secondary)

Note1: The factory dust cover will fit normally with secondary knobs installed.

Note2: The telescope optical tube assembly will clear the rocker box with primary knobs installed.

Note3: Primary mirror springs as supplied by the factory can sag from the weight of the mirror cell. Our stainless steel replacement springs are stronger and provide adequate support to maintain primary mirror collimation. We recommend that the mirror locking screws remain in place for additional control.

These replace factory screws so that collimation of both primary and secondary mirrors can take place without tools. We also offer stronger primary mirror support springs for the Lightbridge that will not sag like the factory springs.Primary mirror collimation knobs, including locking knobs, for the Lightbridge 8”, 10”, and 12” are available for US$29.95 per set. These models each require different primary knobs, so be sure to specify aperture in your order. (The Lightbridge 16” already has factory-installed primary mirror collimation knobs.) Secondary mirror collimation knobs that can be installed on the 8”, 10”, 12”, or 16” Lightbridge are available for $20.95 per set. Stronger primary mirror support springs for the Lightbridge 8”, 10”, and 12” are available for $16.95 per set.
