This is a discontinued item. We recommend the SXVR Cameras as a replacement.
The SXVF-H9, is an ExView version of the HX916 with 1392 x 1040 pixels in an 8.9 mm x 6.7 mm array. The peak QE is approximately 65% at 540nm and exceeds 50% at H-alpha wavelengths. This exceptional QE is further benefited by a very low dark current. This CCD also has excellent anti- blooming characteristics. It is the lowest noise most sensitive cooled ABG camera available. The internal USB 2 connection will download a full resolution image in 3.7 seconds. A USB 1.1 connection will download a full resolution image in 7 seconds. There are two built-in serial ports and one built-in parallel port. All of these ports are controlled from a single USB cable. This includes the option to guide with a miniature dedicated guider camera. ( the guider camera is strictly for guiding. It uses the same 510 x 373 CCD chip as that used in the MX5 CCD camera. This gives the operator numerous guidestars to choose from.) There is no complex tangle of cables with the Starlight Xpress SXV-H9 camera.
