The QHYCCD QHY9 monochrome camera uses a 8.6 mp KAF-8300 CCD sensor that has a 56% quantum efficiency (48% in H-alpha), making it a great choice for deep sky observing. It is compatible with most telescopes with its 4/3 inch size.
The temperature control has a two stage TEC and the typical delta T is -50C below ambient and offers excelent noice control giving clearer images than cameras with -25 or -30C cooling even when observing with longer exposures.
QHY9 has very low readout noise between 8300 based camera. QHY9 is a round design and very suitable for Hyperstars.
