Parallax - 12" OD Extra Heavy Duty Tube Rings for 10"-12" Refractors
These 12" outside diameter split tube rings are made of extra heavy die-cast aluminum, finished in gloss black paint, and lined with felt. The hinges, no-tool knobs, and hardware are made of stainless steel for long life and easy telescope installation and removal.
The rings are installed onto your mount or mount dovetail plate via a 1/4"-20 thread mounting hole that is drilled and tapped in the flat boss on the bottom of each ring. A similar hole is drilled and tapped on the top boss so that accessories, such as a piggyback camera mount, can be attached.
