The LM2000, Lumicon Universal Pier, is a sturdy patio mount for binoculars, spotting-scopes and cameras. A simple-to-use altitude-azimuth motion system provides complete freedom of movement from horizon to zenith. Azimuth rotation rides on high-quality thrust-bearings, and altitude motion is controlled by injection-molded friction bearings and a balance adjustment. The result is smooth, easy tracking in both axes, while remaining stationary when released.
Platform height is adjustable from 56" to 72", providing comfortable viewing at all angles. Attachment is by standard 1/4-20 camera tripod-mount. Minimum width in the cradle is 8.7" (22 cm).
