Meade 9 x 63 Astronomy Binoculars
Meade's 9 X 63, BAK-4 roof prism Astronomical Binoculars are great for scanning the Milky Way, checking out the Moon, or comet-watching. They have a nice 7mm exit pupil, which means you'll get bright images under dark conditions, and have the added bonus of being rubber armour-coated for extra durability.
With a magnification factor of nine, most people can still hand-hold (although astronomical binoculars always benefit from a tripod). These are also nice for daytime use, and will especially show their worth when given the difficult task of separating your subject of interest from a shady/shadowy background.
