The Exview Autoguider is a larger-format development of the older SXV Autoguider. It uses an ICX429 'Exview' CCD in binned 2x2 mode to give excellent sensitivity and rapid readout. This 8 bit camera connects to the port socket on the rear of any SXV, SXVF or SXVR camera.

The Starlight Xpress Lodestar is a revolutionary Stand-Alone Autoguider powered through the USB port of your computer. The Guider Connections are taken from the rear of the Loderstar camera and sent to the autoguider socket on your telescope mount. With the large (6.3mm x 4.76mm)ICX429AL SONY EXVIEW CCD used as the imaging chip, this very sensitive autoguiding camera is capable of finding very faint guide stars with little effort. Utilizing USB2.0 technology, the Lodestar can deliver more than 11 frames per second in the binned 2x2 mode.

The Oculus uses a SuperHAD CCD from Sony which has all of the wonderful benefits of an interline Sony CCD, such as incredibly low thermal noise and very fast electronic shutter (no need for mechanical shutters). This guide camera uses a 4.9 x 3.7mm CCD (1/3" format) and will slide into a 1.25" focusing assembly. It may also be used with a 'CS' mount camera lens. The weight is less than 100 grams.
