Works best with Orion StarShoot AutoGuider and StarShoot cameras, as well as Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras. Accommodates most imaging cameras and telescopes with sufficient inward focus travel (59mm required). May require additional threaded adapters for use with some models of Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) telescopes. Not recommended for reflector telescopes due to their limited focus travel.... The SteadyPix Deluxe securely couples just about any "point-and-shoot" digital camera, SLR, or DSLR camera to a telescope eyepiece, and allows adjustment to achieve precise focus and centering for afocal photography. The rubber-lined eyepiece clamp helps prevent any marring or damge to your eyepieces. This versatile mount offers three dimensions of adjustment (horizontal, vertical, and depth) to accomodate almost any camera size or lens position. You can even rotate the camera away from the eyepiece for visual access, without having to remove the SteadyPix Deluxe mount. The SteadyPix Deluxe has been improved to fit all 1.25" eyepieces and most 2" eyepieces (up to 61mm in diameter). It also features a sturdier all-metal design for increased rigidity and performance. So if you've got the desire to dabble in astro-imaging, the SteadyPicx Deluxe Camera Mount is a great way to get started! Weighs just 10 oz. and includes a one-year limited warranty.... With the Orion X-Y Guidestar Finder you won't have to. It enables you to move the autoguider (or guiding telescope eyepiece) around within the guide telescope's focal plane, bringing more potential guide stars into view and speeding up the process of guide star acquisition. In fact, it obviates the need for adjustable tube rings altogether, eliminating a potential source of image-ruining flexure. With the Orion X-Y Guidestar Finder, you can use fixed tube rings for your guide scope instead — a much more secure configuration.
Anyone who uses a separate guide scope in their imaging setup will benefit from the Orion X-Y Guidestar Finder. Its precision X-Y fine-adjustment knobs provide lateral travel of up to 1.1 inches. The unit's 1.25" barrel fits into the guide scope's focuser. An optional 2" barrel is also available (#5270), which allows a wider range of adjustment. The guide camera nosepiece or guiding telescope eyepiece attaches via a 1.25" barrel with a thumbscrew lock.... Learn MoreModel#: 52061
