The LK3010, Lumicon Sky Vector 1 Computer, is a digital setting circle computer, providing virtually any astronomical telescope, whether equatorial or altazimuth, with a continuous, real-time digital readout of right ascension and declination coordinates. It includes: one (1) Lumicon Sky Vector 1 Computer; two (2) 4000-Step Encoders; one (1) 36" x 36" wire harness (other lengths available by request); and instructions. The Lumicon Sky Vector 1 Kit is for experienced amateur telescope makers who want to mount the Lumicon Sky Vector 1 on their custom or homemade telescopes.
The Lumicon Sky Vector 1's alphanumeric display uses a simple, easy-to-read scrolling text format incorporating a monochromatic red LED dot matrix display that will not interfere with dark-adapted vision. The brightness of the LED display can be controlled with the DIM button. Digital Right Ascension readout is accurate to 1 minute, and digital Declination readout is accurate to 10 arc-minutes. The 210-object database includes the popular Messier Catalog.
