Lumicon - Schmidt Cassegrain Female Thread to Male T-Thread Prime Focus Camera Adapter

The Cassegrain Prime Focus Camera Adapter (LC1031) screws on to back of standard Schmidt Cassegrain telescopes and presents male T-Threads (42mm x 0.75mm) for T-ring attachment. A camera body can then be attached to the T-ring. Slightly loosen the retaining ring and your camera can be turned horizontally or vertically. This set up is simple and solid. It turns your Schmidt Cassegrain telescope into a Super Telephoto lens. For a typical 8" f/10 Schmidt Cassegrain this is equivalent to a 2000mm f/10 telephoto lens yielding 40 power magnification with a 35mm film camera, potentially more with a Digital SLR, depending on chip size.
