The Eyepiece Vault - In order to properly protect your eyepiece investment, Denkmeier Optical, Inc. introduced a new concept. Each eyepiece is encased in an Eyepiece Vault. The bottom of the eyepiece barrel is threaded, and so is the base of The Vault. The eyepiece housing never touches the interior walls of The Vault. Each Vault is made of anodized aluminum and is fully CNC Machined and laser engraved. Vaults are included with all Denkmeier eyepiece pairs. The eye-cup is folded down and the eyepiece is threaded onto the clear anodized base of the Vault. Then the cover may be slipped over the eyepiece and threaded to the base. Your Denk Eyepieces are now fully protected from meteor showers! Eyepiece heaters (not included) may be used to heat the Vaults if desired.
