Vixen 2x Barlow Lens is used to increase the magnification 2x and is a multicoated air-spaced triplet achromatic Barlow lens. To increases the magnification 4x, it may be placed in front of a catadioptric or refractor star diagonal. The eyepieces are held in place with a thumbscrew which the Vixen 2x Barlow Lens includes.
