Off-Axis Guiders

MOAG means Manual Off-Axis Guider, a non-moving part of your optical train.

As a complement to the EFW2 filter wheel, we have developed an  Off_Axis Guider, which features just about everything needed to  successfully use this kind of guiding system.

The low-profile 1.25" Lumicon Newtonian/Refractor Easy-Guider is one of the most powerful astrophotography accessories available today

The Meade #777 Off-Axis Guider Body attaches to your telescope and your camera (with the proper T-ring attached), and with the help of an illuminated reticle eyepiece, allows you to monitor the tracking of your telescope while taking astro-photos.

The Opticstar Off-axis Guider has been designed to interface with the vast majority of existing imaging systems and does not require non-standard adapters, for example existing DSLR T-rings will do if you plan to use a DSLR camera. Sensors up to 39mm in diagonal can be accommodated, typical APS type DSLR sensors have a diagonal of around 27mm. Various adapters are available to attach the Off-axis Guider to a variety of cameras and telescopes in addition to the two such adapters included in the kit.
