Details

For a portable and easy set up telescope, the Celestron AstroMaster LT 76AZ Reflector is definitely one of the best. As a planet viewing telescope, the optical tube has a focal ratio of f/9 and light gathering power of 118x which makes it perfect for viewing high surface brightness objects at smaller field of views and high magnification eyepieces. The rings of Saturn, cloud bands of Jupiter, craters of the Moon and even some brighter deep sky objects are all clearly visible through the Celestron AstroMaster LT 76AZ Reflector. To assemble, simply mount the optical tube to the mount and snap the accessory tray on and you've got a totally functional telescope! A permanent StarPointer on the top of the optical tube helps center the scope on an intended coordinate of the night sky. Included with this package are two eyepieces and the the SkyX First Light Edition Astronomy Software.

Product Series

If you’re looking for a dual-purpose telescope appropriate for both terrestrial and celestial viewing, then the AstroMaster Series is for you. Each AstroMaster model is capable of giving correct views of land and sky. The AstroMaster Series produce bright, clear images of the Moon and planets. It is easy to see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with every one of these fine instruments. For views of the brighter deep space objects like galaxies and nebulae, we recommend the larger aperture and light gathering ability of the Newtonian reflectors.
