AstroDream Tech - Owl 200 Portable Pier

OWL series is a multi-piece portable pier. Compared to a tripod, a pier is advantageous for the observation of the zenith and is convenient because it does not have legs annoying the user. OWL is also highly portable because of its light weight and high rigidity. OWL 160 pursues both light weight and high rigidity and, consequently, high portability. It can be mounted with MC300GE, NJP, etc. OWL 200 is a portable large-size pier. It is sufficient to support EQ1200GTO, EM500, etc. It take about 5 minutes to assemble the product. The plate connecting between the pier and the equatorial mount is made through separate quotation and processing. Refractive long piers are also manufactured through separate quotation. From the new model of 2012, a reinforcing band was added to the plate connection and the leg angle was lowered for the stable holding of the equatorial mount.
