Details
The Vixen Gaiax equatorial mount cannot directly accept their normal SX dovetail plate shared by the Sphinx/Great Polaris series mounts; however, it can work with a pair of tube rings without having the added stack height of the dovetail plate.
This Vixen Tube Rings Plate interfaces between Vixen tube rings and the Gaiax mount to make an incredibly low-profile, secure connection. It is primarily intended for use with the VMC330 optical tube assembly.
