CELESTRON - SkyProdigy - 130mm Newtonian Reflector Computerized Telescope

If there was a telescope that could align itself with no input from the user, the Celestron SkyProdigy 130 Newtonian Reflector Computerized Telescope certainly would qualify.  With the StarSense technology, a small camera attached to the optical tube takes shots of a certain part of the sky and matches it against its database to determine coordinates of the night sky being imaged. It can then align itself once the data is processed.  Absolutely no user involvement required. This is one of the easiest yet most advanced telescopes to use!  No tools are necessary for setting it up. Once the user has mounted the optical tube to the fork mount, extend the stainless steel tripods align the telescope and observing can begin! When properly aligned, the NexStar hand controller has a 4,000 object database of celestial objects to slew (go) to, including the planets as well as thousands of Messier, NGC and IC deep sky objects. Included with the SkyProdigy series, the SkyX First Light Astronomy Software which has a 10,000 object database with printable sky maps and celestial images.
